The Kansas City metropolitan area is a bi-state metropolitan area anchored by Kansas City, Missouri. Its 14 counties straddle the border between the U.S. states of Missouri (9 counties) and Kansas (5 counties). With 8,472 square miles (21,940 km2) and a population of more than 2.2 million people, it is the second-largest metropolitan area centered in Missouri (after Greater St. Louis) and is the largest metropolitan area in Kansas, though Wichita is the largest metropolitan area centered in Kansas. Qinghemen District, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Fuxin City, Liaoning Province. Qinghemen is located in the remaining veins of Songling Mountains, 25.18 kilometers away from the city center and 115 kilometers away from Jinzhou seaport. As of 2010, Qinghemen District covers an area of 100 square kilometers, with a total population of 80,000, and has jurisdiction over 4 districts and 2 towns. Qinghemen District has Liaoshen Weizu tombs, Santagou, Lishan poetry and painting and other natural scenic spots. Lama porridge and Maoerduo soup are special snacks in Qinghemen District.
