The Kansas City metropolitan area is a bi-state metropolitan area anchored by Kansas City, Missouri. Its 14 counties straddle the border between the U.S. states of Missouri (9 counties) and Kansas (5 counties). With 8,472 square miles (21,940 km2) and a population of more than 2.2 million people, it is the second-largest metropolitan area centered in Missouri (after Greater St. Louis) and is the largest metropolitan area in Kansas, though Wichita is the largest metropolitan area centered in Kansas. Jiaojiang District (Taizhou dialect: Tsiao-k ô ng Kempampterian 39; ü) is under the jurisdiction of Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, located at the entrance of Taizhou Bay in the central coast of Zhejiang Province, formerly known as "Haimen", is the main urban area of Taizhou. Founded in 1981, it was renamed Jiaojiang because of the same name as Haimen City, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. It is the first county-level city in Zhejiang Province. Jiaojiang District has a land area of 280square kilometers, a sea area of 1604 square kilometers and a coastline of 51.4km. It has jurisdiction over eight streets, one island town, one farm and one fishery company. At the end of 2013, the total registered population of the district was 539200. In 2013, the gross domestic product of Jiaojiang District was 40.386 billion yuan, an increase of 7.4% over the previous year at comparable prices.

Taizhou Luqiao Airport (Taizhou Luqiao Airport, IATA: HYN, ICAO: ZSLQ), is located at the junction of Airport Road, East Yingbin Avenue and Jiaojiang District, Luqiao District, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, China, 5 kilometers away from the urban area of ​​Luqiao District in the west, and 5 kilometers away from the city in the north. 12 kilometers away from the urban area of ​​Jiaojiang District, it is a 4C-level naval aviation military-civilian airport   .
In July 1955, Huangyan Airport was completed and opened to navigation, and it was a military airport at that time; on December 2, 1987, Huangyan Luqiao Airport officially opened for civil aviation business; on December 23, 2008, Huangyan Luqiao Airport was officially renamed "Taizhou Luqiao Airport"      .
