Washington, D.C., formally the District of Columbia, also known as Washington or D.C. or locally simply as the District, is the capital city and federal district of the United States. It is located on the east bank of the Potomac River, which forms its southwestern and southern border with the U.S. state of Virginia, and it shares a land border with the U.S. state of Maryland on its other sides. The city was named for George Washington, a Founding Father and the first president of the United States, and the federal district is named after Columbia, the female personification of the nation. As the seat of the U.S. federal government and several international organizations, the city is an important world political capital. It is one of the most visited cities in the U.S., with over 20 million annual visitors as of 2016.

The U.S. Constitution provides for a federal district under the exclusive jurisdiction of Congress; the district is not a part of any U.S. state (nor is it one itself). The signing of the Residence Act on July 16, 1790, approved the creation of the capital district located along the Potomac River near the country's East Coast. The City of Washington was founded in 1791, and Congress held its first session there in 1800. In 1801, the territory, formerly part of Maryland and Virginia (including the settlements of Georgetown and Alexandria), officially became recognized as the federal district. In 1846, Congress returned the land originally ceded by Virginia, including the city of Alexandria; in 1871, it created a single municipal government for the remaining portion of the district. There have been efforts to make the city into a state since the 1880s, a movement that has gained momentum in recent years, and a statehood bill passed the House of Representatives in 2021.

Yunxi County is located in the northwest border of Hubei, the north bank of the middle and upper reaches of the Han River, east and southeast bordering Yunyang District of Shiyan City, and the northeast, due north, northwest, southwest and due south adjoin Shangnan, Shanyang, Zhenan, Xunyang and Baihe counties of Shaanxi Province. Qinling Mountains in the north, Han River in the south, the key points of Qin Chu, known as "the throat of Qin, the door of Chu". Yunxi County covers an area of 3509 square kilometers, 115km from east to west and 55km wide from north to south. Yunxi County is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. Yunxi County has 18 townships (fields and districts), 348 village (neighborhood) committees and 2083 village groups, with a total population of 504200 (2015). Among them, the agricultural population is 424700. The county was established in the 12th year of Chenghua of the Ming Dynasty (AD 1476). Yunxi was liberated in November 1947, and it was Hubei Province.
Airport In Yunxi County - Shiyan Wudang Mountain Airport
Shiyan Wudangshan Airport (Shiyan Wudangshan Airport; IATA: WDS, ICAO: ZHSY) is located in Bailang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shiyan City, Hubei Province, China, about 15 kilometers from the urban area, and about 25 kilometers from the Wudang Mountain Scenic Spot, a famous Taoist holy place in China. It is a 4C-level civil transport airport and a feeder airport in China.  
Shiyan Wudangshan Airport was officially completed and opened to navigation on February 5, 2016, and was named Shiyan Wudangshan Airport.  
According to information on the airport's official website in April 2019, Shiyan Wudangshan Airport has a terminal building, not T1 (domestic in China), with a total area of ​​16,400 square meters; a runway with a length of 2,600 meters; 7 parking spaces (2 Helicopter slots); can guarantee an annual passenger throughput of 1.2 million person-times, an annual cargo and mail throughput of 2,700 tons, and an annual aircraft take-off and landing of 16,173 sorties   . As of April 2019, a total of 17 domestic fixed routes have been opened in China, covering 26 cities   .
In 2018, the passenger throughput of Shiyan Wudangshan Airport was 1.1825 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 36.0%; the cargo and mail throughput was 0.5 million tons; 112 bits   .
