San Diego (/ˌsæn diˈeɪɡoʊ/ SAN dee-AY-goh, Spanish: [san ˈdjeɣo]; Spanish for 'Saint Didacus') is a city on the Pacific Ocean coast of Southern California located immediately adjacent to the Mexico–United States border. With a 2020 population of 1,386,932, it is the eighth most populous city in the United States and the seat of San Diego County, the fifth most populous county in the United States, with 3,338,330 estimated residents as of 2019. The city is known for its mild year-round climate, natural deep-water harbor, extensive beaches and parks, long association with the United States Navy, and recent emergence as a healthcare and biotechnology development center. San Diego is the second largest city in the state of California, after Los Angeles.

Hongta District is located in the hinterland of central Yunnan, located in latitude 24 °08: 30 "- 24 °32" N, longitude 102 °17 °32 "- 102 °41 °37 in the east, Tonghai County in the southeast, Eshan Yi Autonomous County in the southwest, and Jinning District in Kunming City in the north. It is 86 kilometers away from the provincial capital Kunming, with convenient transportation. National Highway 213 and the Kunyu Railway, which is connected with the whole country in 1993, run through the north and south, forming the north-south transportation hub of Yunnan Province. Historically, Hongta District of Yuxi City is known as the "provincial capital Pingfan", which is an important passage to southern Yunnan and neighboring countries in Southeast Asia. On December 14, 2017, it was awarded as one of China's top 100 industrial districts. On February 2, 2019, it was evaluated by the State Administration of traditional Chinese Medicine.
