San Diego (/ˌsæn diˈeɪɡoʊ/ SAN dee-AY-goh, Spanish: [san ˈdjeɣo]; Spanish for 'Saint Didacus') is a city on the Pacific Ocean coast of Southern California located immediately adjacent to the Mexico–United States border. With a 2020 population of 1,386,932, it is the eighth most populous city in the United States and the seat of San Diego County, the fifth most populous county in the United States, with 3,338,330 estimated residents as of 2019. The city is known for its mild year-round climate, natural deep-water harbor, extensive beaches and parks, long association with the United States Navy, and recent emergence as a healthcare and biotechnology development center. San Diego is the second largest city in the state of California, after Los Angeles.

Langxi County, which belongs to Xuancheng City, Anhui Province, was founded in the first year of Duangong in the Northern Song Dynasty (AD 988). Located in the southeast border of Anhui Province, at the junction of Anhui, Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, it is known as the "thoroughfare of the three provinces" and has a superior location. As of 2018, Langxi County has jurisdiction over 7 towns, 2 townships and 1 provincial development zone, with a total population of 347500 and an area of 1104.8 square kilometers. Langxi County has a mild climate, fertile soil and rich products, known as "land of fish and rice" and "natural botanical garden". It is an important producing area of grain, oil and silkworm cocoons in Anhui Province and a national commodity grain base county; the main specialties are green tea, yellow wine, golden jujube, stuffy sauce, wild goose, silverfish, green shrimp, crab, soft-shelled turtle, etc.; the main minerals are fluorite, yellow sand, limestone, granite, kaolin, pyrophyllite and so on.
