San Diego (/ˌsæn diˈeɪɡoʊ/ SAN dee-AY-goh, Spanish: [san ˈdjeɣo]; Spanish for 'Saint Didacus') is a city on the Pacific Ocean coast of Southern California located immediately adjacent to the Mexico–United States border. With a 2020 population of 1,386,932, it is the eighth most populous city in the United States and the seat of San Diego County, the fifth most populous county in the United States, with 3,338,330 estimated residents as of 2019. The city is known for its mild year-round climate, natural deep-water harbor, extensive beaches and parks, long association with the United States Navy, and recent emergence as a healthcare and biotechnology development center. San Diego is the second largest city in the state of California, after Los Angeles.
Sihui is a county-level city hosted by Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province. Because of the place where the four rivers (Xijiang, Beijiang, Suijiang and Longjiang) will flow, it is named "Sihui". Located in the middle of Guangdong Province, east of Zhaoqing, the northwest edge of the Pearl River Delta, located in the lower reaches of the West, North and Suisanjiang River, the Tropic of Cancer divides the whole territory into two. It is bordered by Sanshui District of Foshan City in the east, Dinghu District of Zhaoqing City in the south, Guangning County in the northwest and Qingxin District of Qingyuan City in the northeast, which belongs to the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone. It entered the ranks of the top 100 counties (cities) in the rural economy and the top 100 counties (cities) in the country in 1993 and 1994 respectively, and achieved a well-off society in 1996. In 2014, Sihui City ranked 97th among the top 100 counties and cities with comprehensive strength of small and medium-sized cities in China and 100 small and medium-sized cities with the most investment potential in China.
