San Diego (/ˌsæn diˈeɪɡoʊ/ SAN dee-AY-goh, Spanish: [san ˈdjeɣo]; Spanish for 'Saint Didacus') is a city on the Pacific Ocean coast of Southern California located immediately adjacent to the Mexico–United States border. Pingan District is one of the two municipal districts of Haidong City, Qinghai Province. Pingan County, named after Ping an Station in 1979, was changed to Pingan District in February 2015. It was the capital of Haidong District from 1979 to 2013. After Haidong was relocated and established in 2013, it is still the temporary residence of Haidong City.
