San Diego (/ˌsæn diˈeɪɡoʊ/ SAN dee-AY-goh, Spanish: [san ˈdjeɣo]; Spanish for 'Saint Didacus') is a city on the Pacific Ocean coast of Southern California located immediately adjacent to the Mexico–United States border. With a 2020 population of 1,386,932, it is the eighth most populous city in the United States and the seat of San Diego County, the fifth most populous county in the United States, with 3,338,330 estimated residents as of 2019. The city is known for its mild year-round climate, natural deep-water harbor, extensive beaches and parks, long association with the United States Navy, and recent emergence as a healthcare and biotechnology development center. San Diego is the second largest city in the state of California, after Los Angeles.
Wubao County is located in the northeast of Shaanxi Province, southeast of Yulin City. Relying on Jia County in the north, Suide in the west and the Yellow River in the east, it faces Linxian County and Liulin in Shanxi Province. With a total area of 428 square kilometers, cultivated land of 12700 hectares and a total population of 84300 (2016), Wubao County is the traffic hub of Qin and Jin dynasties. It has been a strategic area for military strategists since ancient times, and it is the bridgehead from northern Shaanxi to East and North China. Wubao County is one of the five sericulture base counties in Shaanxi Province, and the output and income of red jujube ranks first in the city. Four Yellow River bridges connect Qin and Jin provinces, and Xian-Song Highway crosses the border. Places of interest include the second moraine of the Yellow River-Wubao Datong moraine, Wubao Stone City, Taiping Temple, Liuqing former residence, Henggou Hot Spring and so on.
