San Diego (/ˌsæn diˈeɪɡoʊ/ SAN dee-AY-goh, Spanish: [san ˈdjeɣo]; Spanish for 'Saint Didacus') is a city on the Pacific Ocean coast of Southern California located immediately adjacent to the Mexico–United States border. With a 2020 population of 1,386,932, it is the eighth most populous city in the United States and the seat of San Diego County, the fifth most populous county in the United States, with 3,338,330 estimated residents as of 2019. The city is known for its mild year-round climate, natural deep-water harbor, extensive beaches and parks, long association with the United States Navy, and recent emergence as a healthcare and biotechnology development center. San Diego is the second largest city in the state of California, after Los Angeles.

It is a county under the jurisdiction of Tieling City, Liaoning Province, with Shenyang in the south, Fushun in the east, Diaobingshan City in the west, and Yinzhou District in Tieling City, Central. The county is located in longitude 123 °28'to 124 °33 °E and latitude 41 °59'N to 42 °33'N. The area is 2249 square kilometers (2008). By 2008, Tieling County has a population of 391000 and has jurisdiction over 11 towns, 3 townships, 1 field, 4 communities and 216 administrative villages. In 2008, the county's gross domestic product (GDP) reached 10.07 billion yuan. In September 2019, it was selected as a pilot county for the construction of medical community in a compact county. The quality of farmers' cooperatives across the country will be improved and pilot units will be promoted throughout the county.
