Columbus (/kəˈlʌmbəs/) is the state capital and the most populous city in the U.S. state of Ohio. With a 2020 census population of 905,748, it is the 14th-most populous city in the U.S., the second-most populous city in the Midwest, after Chicago, and the third-most populous state capital. Columbus is the county seat of Franklin County; it also extends into Delaware and Fairfield counties. It is the core city of the Columbus metropolitan area, which encompasses 10 counties in central Ohio. The metropolitan area had a population of 2,138,926 in 2020, making it the largest entirely in Ohio[a] and 32nd-largest in the U.S.

Columbus originated as numerous Native American settlements on the banks of the Scioto River. Franklinton, now a city neighborhood, was the first European settlement, laid out in 1797. The city was founded in 1812 at the confluence of the Scioto and Olentangy rivers, and laid out to become the state capital. The city was named for Italian explorer Christopher Columbus. The city assumed the function of state capital in 1816 and county seat in 1824. Amid steady years of growth and industrialization, the city has experienced numerous floods and recessions. Beginning in the 1950s, Columbus began to experience significant growth; it became the largest city in Ohio in land and population by the early 1990s. The 1990s and 2000s saw redevelopment in numerous city neighborhoods, including Downtown.

Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County is located in the northwest of Sichuan Basin. The geographical coordinates are longitude 103 °44 "104 °42" east and latitude 31 °14 "32 °14 'north. It is bordered by Jiangyou City in the east, Anzhou District in the south, Maoxian County in the west, and Songpan and Pingwu County in the north, covering an area of 2867.83 square kilometers (with a detailed land area of 2869.18 square kilometers). 42 kilometers away from downtown Mianyang and 160 kilometers from the provincial capital Chengdu, it is the only Qiang Autonomous County in China. In 2016, the total population was 240000 (of which 85000 were Qiang, accounting for 36% of the county's total population and nearly 1/3 of the Qiang population in China). In 2016, the GDP of the region reached 4.389 billion yuan. Beichuan County has "the hometown of Chinese beige marble", "the hometown of Chinese Dayu Culture" and "China".

Mianyang Nanjiao Airport was approved for construction in 1994 and named Mianyang Nanjiao Airport   ; Construction started in July 1997; it was officially completed and opened to navigation on April 28, 2001   .
Mianyang Nanjiao Airport has T1 and T2 terminals, with a total area of ​​48,000 square meters; a runway with a length of 2,400 meters; an apron of 111,000 square meters and 20 parking spaces; the annual passenger throughput is guaranteed to be 6 million.     As of November 2022, 59 routes and 42 cities have been opened.  
In 2019, the passenger throughput of Mianyang Nanjiao Airport was 4,159,400 passengers, a year-on-year increase of 5.6%; the cargo and mail throughput was 8,800 tons, a year-on-year increase of 16.8%; the number of takeoffs and landings was 189,900, a year-on-year increase of 7.6%; ranking 49th in China respectively , 62nd, 17th.
