Columbus (/kəˈlʌmbəs/) is the state capital and the most populous city in the U.S. state of Ohio. With a 2020 census population of 905,748, it is the 14th-most populous city in the U.S., the second-most populous city in the Midwest, after Chicago, and the third-most populous state capital. Columbus is the county seat of Franklin County; it also extends into Delaware and Fairfield counties. It is the core city of the Columbus metropolitan area, which encompasses 10 counties in central Ohio. The metropolitan area had a population of 2,138,926 in 2020, making it the largest entirely in Ohio[a] and 32nd-largest in the U.S.

Columbus originated as numerous Native American settlements on the banks of the Scioto River. Franklinton, now a city neighborhood, was the first European settlement, laid out in 1797. The city was founded in 1812 at the confluence of the Scioto and Olentangy rivers, and laid out to become the state capital. The city was named for Italian explorer Christopher Columbus. The city assumed the function of state capital in 1816 and county seat in 1824. Amid steady years of growth and industrialization, the city has experienced numerous floods and recessions. Beginning in the 1950s, Columbus began to experience significant growth; it became the largest city in Ohio in land and population by the early 1990s. The 1990s and 2000s saw redevelopment in numerous city neighborhoods, including Downtown.

Dujiangyan (Dujiangyan), abbreviated as "irrigation", is directly under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province and administered by Chengdu. It is located at the mouth of Minjiang River on the northwest edge of Chengdu Plain, named after the water conservancy project; the east of the city is at the junction of Pengzhou City, Pidu District and Wenjiang District, the west and north are connected with Wenchuan County, and the south is adjacent to Chongzhou City; the topography of the city is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, which belongs to the humid monsoon climate zone in the middle subtropics of Sichuan Basin. The city has a total area of 1208 square kilometers and has jurisdiction over 5 streets, 13 towns and 1 township, with a resident population of 690900 in 2017. Dujiangyan is a city with a history of more than 2000 years, rising because of Weir and flourishing because of water. It is an area inhabited by ancient Shu ancestors in the Neolithic Age, and it is one of the birthplaces of ancient Shu. Dujiangyan City is integrated with mountain, water, forest, Weir and bridge.

Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, IATA: CTU, ICAO: ZUUU), located at the junction of Shuangliu District and Wuhou District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, China, about 16 kilometers northeast from the center of Chengdu, is a 4F international aviation hub , one of the eight major regional hub airports in China   , an aviation hub and passenger and cargo distribution center in China's inland areas.     
The predecessor of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport is Chengdu Shuangguisi Airport, which was built in 1938. On December 12, 1956, Chengdu Shuangguisi Airport was renamed Chengdu Shuangliu Airport.   On November 30, 1995, Chengdu Shuangliu Airport was approved to change its name to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. On August 9, 2012, Terminal 2 of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport officially opened.

There are 3 air cargo terminals and 2 parallel runways. , there are 3 aircraft parking areas with a total area of ​​9.4127 million square meters; a total of 228 parking spaces (as of January 2020)   ; 270 air routes have been opened, connecting 209 cities at home and abroad.  
In 2019, Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport handled a total of 55,858,552 passengers, a year-on-year increase of 5.5%, ranking fourth in the country; cargo and mail throughput was 671,903.9 tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.0%, ranking sixth in the country; aircraft movements were 366,887 Flights, a year-on-year increase of 4.2%, ranking fifth in the country   .
