Columbus (/kəˈlʌmbəs/) is the state capital and the most populous city in the U.S. state of Ohio. With a 2020 census population of 905,748, it is the 14th-most populous city in the U.S., the second-most populous city in the Midwest, after Chicago, and the third-most populous state capital. Columbus is the county seat of Franklin County; it also extends into Delaware and Fairfield counties. It is the core city of the Columbus metropolitan area, which encompasses 10 counties in central Ohio. The metropolitan area had a population of 2,138,926 in 2020, making it the largest entirely in Ohio[a] and 32nd-largest in the U.S.

Columbus originated as numerous Native American settlements on the banks of the Scioto River. Franklinton, now a city neighborhood, was the first European settlement, laid out in 1797. The city was founded in 1812 at the confluence of the Scioto and Olentangy rivers, and laid out to become the state capital. The city was named for Italian explorer Christopher Columbus. The city assumed the function of state capital in 1816 and county seat in 1824. Amid steady years of growth and industrialization, the city has experienced numerous floods and recessions. Beginning in the 1950s, Columbus began to experience significant growth; it became the largest city in Ohio in land and population by the early 1990s. Jinzhou Jinzhouwan Airport (Jinzhou Jinzhouwan Airport, IATA: JNZ, ICAO: ZYJZ), is located at No. 1 Airport Road, Jianye Township, Linghai City, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, China, 8 kilometers away from Liaodong Bay, 22 kilometers away from Jinzhou Port, and 8 kilometers away from Jinzhou Port. 24 kilometers from the center of Jinzhou, it is a 4C-level domestic feeder airport in China, the first relocated airport in Northeast China, and the first airport in China that considers the unified layout of airport construction and aviation industrial park planning   .
In 2008, Jinzhou City started the relocation of Jinzhou Xiaolingzi Airport; on December 10, 2015, Jinzhou Jinzhou Bay Airport was opened, and all civil aviation business of Jinzhou Xiaolingzi Airport was transferred here   .
According to the official website of Liaoning Provincial Airport Management Group in 2020, the terminal building of Jinzhou Jinzhou Bay Airport covers an area of ​​10,000 square meters, with 3 corridor bridges; the civil aviation station has 6 C-class seats; the runway is 2,500 meters long and 45 meters wide; It can meet the needs of annual passenger throughput of 800,000 passengers and cargo and mail throughput of 3,750 tons   .
In 2021, Jinzhou Jinzhou Bay Airport will handle a total of 226,513 passengers, a year-on-year increase of 32.2%, ranking 178th in the country; cargo and mail throughput will be 502.1 tons, a year-on-year increase of 31.8%, ranking 148th in the country; aircraft take-offs and landings will be 2,525 , a year-on-year increase of 29.4%, ranking 195th in the country   .
